Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026.
Cookies and local storage are small records a site keeps in your browser. This page lists, item by item, what LivreImage stores, why and for how long. None of these records contains your images.
What works without asking permission
These records are needed for the site to remember your preferences. They stay in your browser only and do not identify you.
| Name | Where | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
livre_theme | local storage | remember whether you picked the light or the dark theme | until you clear the site data |
livre_consent | local storage | keep your answer to the cookie notice | until you clear the data or change your choice |
livre_settings | local storage | temporary copy of the site's public configuration, so it is not fetched on every page | refreshed every 6 hours |
livre_langbar | local storage | remember that you dismissed the language notice | until you clear the site data |
livre_tools_used | session storage | count, anonymously, how many tools were used during the visit | until the tab is closed |
| app cache | browser cache | open the site faster and allow offline use | replaced on every site update |
What only works if you accept
When you arrive, the cookie notice offers two options: Accept or Essentials only. Until you accept, the services below run in cookieless mode.
| Service | Cookies | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga, _ga_* | measure visits and most-used pages, with anonymized IP | up to 2 years |
| Google AdSense | advertising cookies from Google and partners | show and measure ads; with your permission, personalize them | set by the provider |
The site uses Google Consent Mode: the default answer is deny, and it only changes when you choose to accept. Each service may be switched on or off depending on the site's configuration at the time; the list above describes what happens when it is on.
Our own statistics, without cookies
Independently of the Google services, the site records anonymous usage counters — page visited, language, type of device, referring site and, when you use a tool, technical data about the operation (format, file sizes in bytes, number of files, duration and technical errors; never the file name or the image) — in its own database. These records use no cookies, keep no IP address in the record and cannot identify who visited.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind whenever you want. The button below erases the stored answer and shows the notice again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings and adjust ad personalization in Google's Ad Settings.
