Terms of Use

These terms apply to the use of the LivreImage website (livreimage.com). By using the tools you agree to them. The text is meant to be read: if anything is unclear, ask through the contact page.

1. What the service is

LivreImage offers free image tools — compression, conversion, resizing, cropping, background removal, QR codes — and guides on the subject. Image processing happens in your browser: the files you choose are not sent to us or stored by us.

There is no sign-up, no paid plan and no usage limit set by the site. What limits file size is the memory of your device.

2. Your images are yours

You keep every right to the files you process. Because they never reach us, we have no way to access, copy or use them, and we claim no rights over them.

You are responsible for the content you process and for what you do with the result. Use the tools only with images you have the right to use.

3. Acceptable use

We ask that you do not use the site for unlawful purposes, do not try to interfere with the service, do not overload the infrastructure with automated access and do not attempt to reach restricted areas. Quoting or copying parts of the site is allowed within the limits of section 4.

4. Site content and brand

The texts, the guides, the page design, the name and the LivreImage brand belong to the project. You may quote passages from the guides with attribution and a link to the original page. Full or large-scale reproduction requires permission.

The open-source libraries used by the site belong to their authors and follow their own licenses, listed on the About page.

5. Information in the guides

The guides gather information checked against official sources on the date shown on each page. Rules set by government agencies, platforms and stores change without notice. Before submitting a document or publishing a listing, confirm the requirement at the official source cited. The guides are informational and do not replace the instructions of the agency or platform in charge.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site online and the tools working, but the service may be changed or interrupted, and tools may be removed. When a page ceases to exist, the old address is redirected to the equivalent tool whenever there is one.

7. Warranties and liability

The tools are provided free of charge, as they are. We test the tools before publishing, but we cannot guarantee that every conversion will be perfect for every file in every browser. Always keep the original: the site never alters it, and it is what lets you redo the job.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from the use of the tools or of the information on the site. Nothing in these terms reduces rights that consumer-protection or data-protection law grants you.

8. Advertising and third-party services

The site is funded by advertising. Ads and measurement services are provided by third parties, follow those providers' policies and only use cookies according to your choice in the cookie notice. See the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Links to external sites, including the sources of the guides, lead to pages we do not control.

9. Privacy

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: we do not receive your images, we do not ask for an account and we record only anonymous usage statistics.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the version in force, and relevant changes are recorded in What's new. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
