Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026.
This policy explains how LivreImage (livreimage.com) handles information when you use our site.
1. Your images are not uploaded
All image processing (compression, conversion, resizing, cropping, background removal) happens locally, in your browser. Your files are not sent to, stored on or accessed by our servers. When you close the tab, nothing stays with us.
2. Data we collect
We do not require an account and we do not collect your name, e-mail address or any personally identifiable data to use the tools. We collect only anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (pages visited, language, device type, referring site) to understand how the site is used and improve it. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive only what you type there — name and e-mail are optional.
3. Statistics and cookies
To understand usage and improve the site, we record anonymous, aggregated usage counters (page, language, device type, referring site) in our own database, hosted on Supabase. These records do not identify you and do not rely on tracking cookies.
Depending on the configuration active at the time, we may also use two Google services — both gated by your choice in the cookie notice:
- Google Analytics 4 (traffic measurement) — may be disabled; when active, it uses measurement cookies with IP anonymization.
- Google AdSense (ads) — may be disabled; when active, it and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
You can turn off personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings and manage vendor cookies at aboutads.info. You can also manage or block cookies in your browser settings.
4. Third-party resources
Our fonts are self-hosted on livreimage.com: the page makes no request to Google Fonts. The only third parties the site talks to are:
- Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense, described above and loaded only according to your consent choice.
- The public CDNs jsDelivr and cdnjs, which serve the optional code libraries that do the heavy lifting: the HEIC decoder, PDF generation, .zip creation, QR code reading and generation, and the onnxruntime engine that runs the background-removal model. They are downloaded on demand, only when the corresponding tool is used; the AI model itself is served from livreimage.com. If jsDelivr is unreachable, the AI engine is fetched from unpkg as a fallback.
- Supabase, which stores the messages sent through the contact form and the anonymous usage counters described in section 3.
Like any request on the internet, these providers receive your IP address and the information your browser sends along with it (device type, language, referring page). They do not receive your images — the file you choose is never sent anywhere, neither to us nor to them. What travels is the code that runs in your browser, not your content.
You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab and use any tool on the site. No request carries your image.
5. Consent
When you visit the site, we show a cookie notice. You can accept personalized-advertising cookies or continue with the essential ones only. We honor Google Consent Mode.
6. Your rights (LGPD/GDPR)
Since we do not collect personally identifiable data, there is no account to delete. If you sent us a message through the form and want it erased, ask us through the contact page; the same channel works for any privacy question.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Relevant changes will be published on this page.
